In mug printing, the chosen design is first digitally printed onto a special transfer paper using dye-sublimation ink. The printed design is then transferred onto the surface of the mug using a heat press. During the heat transfer process, the ink on the transfer paper turns into a gas and permeates the surface of the mug, resulting in a vibrant and durable print that is embedded into the mug's coating.
